Course Structure
The training is split into at home learning and in-person learning. Please allow 2 months prior to the in-person course date above to complete the home learning portion of the course.
When you purchase this course you will be given access to a pre-course study programme to be completed before joining Joanne for the 1 day of in-person training and practical energy work.
The at home learning materials consist of a comprehensive course manual, and audio recordings that support the content of the in-person training such as meditations and energy exercises.

Course Content
Enhance your ability to work with different Reiki energies and with a greater variety of applications and subtlety. This 1 day course builds on the traditional Japanese Reiju empowerments in Reiki 1. Traditional, modern and intuitive techniques are shared, and Reiki 2 is also a professional qualification that allows you to offer Reiki treatments as part of a healing practice.
Reiki 2 Practitioner Training (Okuden) course content:
- Traditional Reiki symbols that deepen your treatments
- The different Reiki frequencies
- Distance healing techniques
- Space clearing techniques
You will explore how to enhance your intuition and to integrate Reiki into daily life.
Course Requirements
Students must have received their Reiki 1 empowerments. It is preferable to have a 2-3 month gap between Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 for students to practice feeling and working with energy.
Continuing Your Practice
Following the Reiki 2 Practitioner Training (Okuden) with Joanne Sumner, you will be invited to the Reiki Share in Winchester so you can come and practice Reiki.
